The scene is at a Maryland park called, Gunpowder State Park, located at the river's confluence with the Chesapeake Bay. I would estimate that the photo was taken by Betty in the early 1960's. Bertel's wife, Eleanor D'Arcy Klee was bedridden in a nursing home at this time.
